About the SEC

The Senshi Exchange Club was started in January of 1999; after a long hiatus for redesign it is finally back online and running again. Originally intended to be a fun little side-activity for Sailor Orion's Refuge, it took on a life of its own and has become its own little online community of friends. Now that the Refuge has come to its end, the old SEC members have banded together to make the Senshi Exchange Club a completely separate entity.

There are a maximum of 100 members in the club at any one time. If you would like to join the club, please visit our how to join page and see if we have any open slots, and then send in an application.

Each member of the club creates an original Sailor identity for themselves, based on the Japanese animation Sailor Moon (i.e. - Sailor Orion, Sailor Andromeda, Sailor Aurora, etc.) and a small 42 x 42 pixel graphic of that character, which we call a "doll". Members of the SEC trade these dolls with each other, and all the dolls that they've traded can be displayed on one page called their Doll Cabinet. The idea, of course, is to collect as many of the other members' dolls as possible; and there are special limited edition and award dolls that can also be collected along the way. The idea is to get to know each other, make friends and have fun.
