Your Member Name

1. Your member name must begin with the word "Sailor". No exceptions.
2. Your member name must use the following format: Sailor (Name)
3. You may not use a name that has already been chosen (please refer to the member list to see what names have been taken.) You may not use a name that is too similar to one that's been taken (i.e. - if "Sailor Wind" is taken, you may not use "Sailor Windy", Sailor Wind2", Sailor Winds", etc.)
4. You may not use the name of any of the original Sailor Moon characters (Sailor Moon, Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Mercury, etc.)
5. You may not use titles such as "Eternal", "Super", "Neo", and so on.
6. You may use spaces in your Sailor name (Sailor Dream Dancer, for example).
7. Pay attention to capitalization. Do not type your name in ALL CAPS. If you do wish a certain letter to be capitalized in your name, make sure you type it in that way when you submit your application. Make sure that the first letter of your member name is capitalized.

Here are some examples of correct and incorrect Sailor name formats to give you an idea of what we are looking for.

CORRECT:
Sailor DreamDancer
Sailor Dreamdancer
Sailor Dream Dancer

INCORRECT:
SailorDreamDancer
Sailor Super Dream
Sailor dreamdancer
Sailor DREAMDANCER

If you have a Sailor name you want to use but you're unsure if it's correct, please post it on our Message Boards and ask. We'd be happy to let you know if it's allowable. If you submit an application with an incorrect Sailor name, your application will be deleted.

Your Member Doll

You must have a member doll before submitting an application. You may either request a doll on our Message Boards, or else you may create the doll yourself. Here are the doll requirements:

1. Your doll must be exactly 42 x 42 pixels. No more, no less.
2. Your doll must have a transparent background, and be in .GIF format.
3. Your doll may be animated if you would like, but it is not required.
4. Your doll may NOT look highly similar to the doll of another member. The idea is to have a doll that is unique to you. At the very least, colors need to be different. If your doll looks too much like a current member's you will be asked to create a new one before your application will be considered.

Your Cabinet

You also must have your cabinet ready when you post your application. You need to have a cabinet for your trading, so make sure it works before you apply.

1. You must host your own cabinet. If you don't have a web site, use a free server like geocities, angelfire, etc.
2. Don't put anything in your cabinet except your own member doll and accessories before application.
3. You must use one of the cabinets found in the Members section of this site. You may design your own custom cabinet to use later on once you are accepted to the club.

The Application

Once you have your member doll and your member name picked out, you're ready to fill out the application form. Here's what you'll need to keep in mind:

1. The SEC has a maximum member limit of 100. You can check our current member list to see how many members we currently have. If all the slots are filled, you may still submit an application, but it will not be considered until we actually have a slot to fill.
2. Participation in the group is REQUIRED if you are going to be a member. This means you are required to log in to the site at least once every two weeks. If you are inactive for too long your membership will be revoked to allow other potential active members the chance to join. Please be aware of this commitment before applying. If you know you are going on vacation, you are expected to leave a notice so we know why and how long you are gone for.
3. Make sure your email address is correct; it's the only way we'll have to get in touch with you and let you know the results of your application.
4. If we have more applicants than we do open slots, the club administration will hold a vote to fill the open slots.
5. To apply, post a message in the Join the Club with the topic being your intended name (ie- Sailor DreamDancer). There, post a link to your cabinet and a pleasant message introducing yourself so the members can get to know who you are before accepting you in.
6. By law, we are not allowed to collect personal information on anyone under the age of 13; therefore, all club members must be 13 or older. This is why we require that you tell us your age on the application.
7. Lastly, if you were, at any other time, an official member of the club, you get first dibs on any empty slots, not requiring any voting on your application if there are not enough slots for all applicants.
